Ralf Schäfer has a PhD in Physics from Münster University. He worked 34 years for Philips Lighting, from which 22 years for Philips Automotive Lighting as development manager, product marketing manager and business manager. He retired 2012 and since then is engaged as senior consultant in the automotive lighting and sensor field.
